Two monitors show the same ivory differently, and cloth behaves differently again under the light in the room it's going in. Hold it in your hand first. Eight swatches, free, anywhere in the country.

How to order

Tell us which fabrics and colors you'd like and we'll mail them flat. If you're matching something — china, a bridesmaid dress, a brand color — say so and send a photo, and we'll add the shades we think come closest alongside the ones you asked for.

What arrives

Each swatch is labelled with the fabric and the color code, so when you order you're naming the exact cloth rather than describing it.

Looking at them properly

Look in daylight, near a window, not under a warm bulb. Most venue lighting is warmer than daylight and will pull a cool ivory toward cream.
Put the swatch next to whatever it has to live with — the china, the flowers, the chairs, the floor.
Look at it flat and then bunched. Fabric reads darker where it folds, and a tablecloth is mostly folds.
If it's for an evening event, look at it again after dark under the light you'll actually have.

Worth doing before a large order

Every cloth is cut for your order, so a color you're unsure about isn't returnable once it's made. A swatch is the cheapest insurance available on the whole transaction.
